“A true luxury product should be timeless – and timelessness iS the antithesis of fast fashion.”

THE 3 PILLARS OF SUSTAINABILITY

I - SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

We are using the highest quality natural vegetable-tanned leather which comes from a tannery in Italy that has been audited and certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). This prestigious certification requires tanneries to reduce their water and energy consumption, as well as their use of any potentially environmentally unfriendly substances. The VTL process uses natural tannins from wood, bark, fruits and leaves, making it not only better for the planet but much safer for you and your pet. We use 100% organic cotton (GOTS certified), GRS (Global Recycled Standard) materials and our main metal components are 100% recyclable solid brass. Our handcrafted food and water bowls are made of 100% Certified Murano Glass and completely lead-free. All of our materials are sourced from Italy and made in the EU.

II - SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION

The most important factor for us when considering our production partners is ensuring we're not only working with highly skilled craftspeople, but that they are fairly compensated and have a healthy and safe working environment. Our certified Murano glass products are made by generations-long glass-blowing artisans. Our leather goods are produced at our atelier in Florence, Italy by expert artisan leatherworkers in the timeless Florentine tradition.

III - LONG-LASTING DESIGN

Our philosophy is lifetime over landfill. Our carriers and collection of accessories are made with natural, vegetable-tanned leather which is incredibly durable and only improves in aesthetic over time. If properly cared for, these high-quality VTL products will only look better in 10 years. Our Murano glass products are lead-free, made of 100% certified Murano glass, dishwasher-safe and thick-walled. As with any glass object, glassware must be handled with care to avoid breakage.
